Symphony of Peace

"Cool."

submission: Symphony of Peace
date: August 14, 2008

I think a flute lead would've been cool in this, but I like it how it is. :)

Thanks, this is just the beggining. I have loads of music I created on my computer but unfortunately I am limited to 2 posts a day but I hope the NG community will be enlightened. Much better to come.

"Default Guitars?"

date: August 14, 2008

Sounds like the lead guitars are the default FL Slayer in FLStudio, are they?
I like it though. Good job.

August 14, 2008

Author's Response:

Well, if by default you mean that I used presets, then you would be right. But that definatly isn't the default Slayer. Of course, Slayer (version 1) sounds very similar no matter how you tune it. To be honest, I would love to get some high quality Direct Wave stuff, or a real guitar, but that of course costs lots of money, and FL Studio was already expensive as it is lol. Still it would be nice. The advantage of having those high-quality Direct Wave sounds is that you don't even have to know how to mix (or what you're evening doing) to make something sound good! The concept of it angers me at first, but then I realize: hey, that's how the music industry is -- no talent gets the high horse. I ought to rant about it somewhere else! Sorry for putting you through that little nerd rage, lol

Great. Some of the instruments sound like the snes, or is that just me? Good job.

"Drums are the square peg."

submission: a Sad Song
date: April 4, 2008

I've always liked these kind of songs. Yeah, drums wouldn't fit. Someone could probably find a way to, but right now it's good.

"A midi..."

date: March 25, 2008

I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to submit these...correct me if I'm wrong.

March 25, 2008

Author's Response:

Well, You can only upload MP3 files, and you transfer an MIDI straight to MP3, you get nothing. I did edit the origional MIDI, and add different instruments. Alot of people do use MIDI's, but don't give credit to the guy that made it. The artist of the origional MIDI is always fully credited by me. The rule is a grey area, like downloading an artists music off the internet, but if any mods want me to remove any of my MIDI work, I will gladly do so.
Thank you for your consern though.
